"TOUCH ME NOT" gewinnt Goldenen Bären auf der diesjährigen Berlinale.

EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN haben zum Soundtrack des diesjährigen Gewinners des Goldenen Bären auf dem "Berlinale"-Filmfestival, dem Film TOUCH ME NOT der Rumänischen Künstlerin Adina Pintilie, beigetragen. Wir freuen uns sehr über diesen überraschenden Sieg!

TOUCH ME NOT has surprisingly won the "Golden Bear" in this year`s Berlinale Competition, and we are extremely happy by this.

TOUCH ME NOT is a film-research by Adina Pintilie on intimacy, which questions our preconceived ideas about it. A film on how human beings can touch each other in the most unexpected ways.

Searching beyond taboos, it is a hybrid work, involving a mix of reality and fiction, following the emotional journeys of several characters in their search of intimacy.

It won among others the ARTE France Award@Cinemart, Main Production Award @ Torino Filmlab, Cinelink Work-in-Progress Award, was selected in Cannes's Atelier Cinefondation, Venice Gap Financing Market. It is the 1st part of the upcoming multiplatform art project supported among others by the Pompidou Center @ the National Museum of Contemporary Art Bucharest.

Adina Pintilie is a Romanian artist working with a specific method based on various techniques of improvisation, psychodrama, playback theater, body work. The film was thus conceived with a mixed cast of non-professionals and actors.
EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN have contributed to the film soundtrack.
