Friday, December 12 at 8:00pm at Z Bar Bergstrasse 2, 10115 Berlin Alexander Hacke and Danielle de Picciotto will be showing a short experimental film they produced together at the video & Sound exhibition: "Submerged!"

Based upon three short stories written by Co-curator, Leo Kuelbs, "Submerged!" provides liquid visions of a multi-layered, ever-shifting psychological seascape.

A group of visual and sonic-based artists were brought together from a variety of countries including Germany, Israel, Italy, USA, Brazil, Portugal and Hungary, making "Submerged!" an international effort. When represented from multiple cultural angles, a mysterious whole reveals itself, every-shifting, just beneath the conscious surface.

"Submerged!" has appeared in Long Island City, Brooklyn and Budapest with upcoming shows in Thailand and Los Angeles. Initial Screening: 8.30 pm, Looping/30 mns per loop: 9.25 pm - 12 am, Curated by Leo Kuelbs and Karl Erickson.

To accompany the DVD "NOT JUNK YET: THE ART OF LARY 7" Alexander Hacke and Danielle de Picciotto are also releasing an EP called "Needle at Sea Bottom".

Alexander Hacke and Danielle de Picciotto are releasing a Film/ DVD about Lary 7 the iconic NYC sound artist "Not Junk Yet - The Art of Lary 7" for which they have been collecting material since 2002.

Not Junk Yet - The Art of Lary 7 will premiere the anthology film archive in NYC on Jan 23 2015.

Das Goethe-Institut plant für 2015 eine Ausstellung mit dem Titel "Geniale Dilletanten". Subkultur der 80er Jahre in Deutschland. Kunst, Musik, Design, Mode, Film und Literatur. Sie wird in Deutschland und als Tourneeausstellung weltweit in Zusammenarbeit mit Partnerinstitutionen vor Ort gezeigt werden. Einstürzende Neubauten werden einer der Hauptprotagonisten der Ausstellung sein.
Im Sommer 2015 wird die Ausstellung im Münchner "Haus der Kunst" zu sehen sein.

The Gothe Institute is doing an exhibition in 2015 with the title "Geniale Dilletanten". Subculture of the 80ies in Germany in art, music, fashion, film and literature. The exhibition will be shown in Germany and touring worldwide in cooperation with local partner institutions. Einstuerzende Neubauten will be one of the main protagonists with a strong focus on their work.
In summer 2015 the exhibition will be shown at "Haus der Kunst" in Munich.
